Discord Bot Privacy Policy
The Bot is designed to be a quiet guest in your server: it uses only what it needs to answer a command, and it is not built around a user database, advertising, or selling information.
1. The small amount of data the Bot may process
When you use a command or interact with the Bot, Discord may provide information needed to handle that interaction. Depending on the feature, this can include your Discord user ID, username or display name, server and channel IDs, command name, command input, and basic technical or error information. The Bot does not intentionally read or collect messages it does not need for its stated functionality.
2. Command logs and n8n
The Bot may send command requests through an n8n automation workflow. That workflow may create operational logs containing some of the interaction data listed above, including command inputs, so that the Bot can run, be debugged, and be protected from misuse. Please keep sensitive information out of commands: logs are for keeping the Bot healthy, not for storing secrets.
3. What we do not do
- We do not maintain a profile database for Bot users.
- We do not sell, rent, or use Discord data for advertising or marketing.
- We do not use Discord message content or command inputs to train AI or machine-learning models.
- We do not ask for Discord passwords, tokens, payment details, or other account credentials.
4. Why information is used
Any data the Bot processes is used only to provide the feature you requested, operate and secure the Bot, troubleshoot failures, and meet legal obligations. We do not use it to build behavioral profiles or to make decisions about you beyond delivering the Bot’s functionality.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not share Discord data for others’ independent use. Information may pass through Discord and the n8n workflow service that operates the Bot’s automation, only as needed to provide the service. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect the Bot, its users, or others from harm.
6. Retention and deletion
The Bot does not keep a separate long-term user database. Operational logs may remain in the n8n workflow for a limited period set by its configuration, then expire or are deleted when no longer needed for operation, debugging, or security. You can request deletion of data associated with your Discord account by emailing support@teafication.com. We will make a reasonable effort to locate and delete applicable retained data, unless we must keep it for a legal or security reason.
7. Security and your choices
We take reasonable steps to limit access to operational systems and data. No online service can promise perfect security, so please avoid placing sensitive information in Bot commands. You can stop future processing by not using the Bot, removing it where you have permission to do so, or contacting us for help.
8. Changes to this policy
If the Bot gains a new feature that changes what it processes, we will update this policy before or when that feature launches. The latest version and its effective date will always be available on this page.
